How to order:- Exclusive to Ideas Genie users who are members of the Ideas for Gardens Forum.
All Ideas Genie users are very welcome to participate in the Forum.
Availability:- First Edition issued to arouse interest. Second Edition due for release in time for Christmas!
Current Status: Photo intensive.
Contributors: Members of the Ideas for Gardens forum.
The forum has a very international flavour. Members hail from both sides of the atlantic, and both sides of the hemisphere.

Applications:
This database serves to illustrate how YOU can document a photo collection for YOUR Forum, Plant Society, Gardening Club etc, and swap the CD’s at meetings.

About this database.
Our Ideas for Gardens forum members frequently share photos of their gardens by posting them on web sites on the internet.
We welcome and respect non-English speaking visitors who take the time to translate their messages into English.
We all learn a lot about the problems facing gardeners in different climates.

Due to web space and download speed considerations the photos on the internet are normally reduced in size and reduced in resolution to ensure web page’s load in an acceptable time.

No such restrictions here. This database allows original photos to be used and viewed off-line.
Good for slide shows of Garden Areas and individual plants.

Furthermore, Forums tend to get disjointed as original threads diversify. It can be very difficult, at a later date, to fnd photos which you know are buried in there, somewhere among thousands of postings.

This database is a unison of a) the photographic material posted on the forum, b) sent directly on CD and c) received by email. The photos are arranged logically by contributor. Each photo can be given a title, and notes can accompany each photograph, with a hyperlink back to the posting in the forum (or elsewhere) if so desired.

As Forum host, I’ve included many photos of my own garden in this database. Its a great chance for me to communicate with users of my Ideas Genie creation.
