The ideasforgardens Garden Photo Explorer (ideasforgardens-GPE), is a free download program and does not require a licence.

Disk Space required 10mb plus room for growth.

What is it?
a) It’s a program to allow you to personalise a copy of our database on YOUR computer. You will be to bookmark which of the hundreds of the photos on our site you’ve seen, the names of plants in our photos, and to bookmark your favourite gardens etc. Select one of our photos to view on YOUR computer, launch your browser from a Hyperlink in the program and go directly to the EXACT page on our site to view the Garden Photo.  More Info

b) A general purpose feature which will interest the non-gardener. A web address organiser, with capacity to store whole pages of data downloaded from the internet. e.g. Lecture Notes, Guitar Tabs,  etc.  More Info

c) The Download includes “a Run Time Library”. This Run Time Library is also required for the Ideas Genie - Software for Plant Lovers. (see Garden Software) When you have successfully completed the download and have the ideasforgardens-GPE running you will be ready to download and run the modules making up the Ideas Genie.

Note:- In the first screen which appears in the download, take the option to “Run this program from this location”. This option  will automatically install the ideasforgardens-GPE in its correct location and add a shortcut Icon to your desktop
